Behind The Collection: Refresh 2016

Kristi fills us in on her inspiration behind the Refresh 2016 collection,
her favorite new styles and what she's most excited about!

What inspired you most when designing this collection?
I have a special place in my heart for Hawaii, so the vibrant colors you see in this collection reflect their beautiful sunsets, clear ocean waters and fragrant flowers. I want to inspire women to get outside and appreciate the beauty of nature.

What excites you about the new pieces?
We are thrilled to introduce printed bottoms into the Tsuya collection - the Hibiscus Legging and another print that will launch soon! I love how we tied all of the beautiful colors into our prints so they mix-and-match with everything in the line. Empowering foil graphic tanks also make a debut this season - 'Shine' and 'Live Life, Give Love'. Having a motto has always given me direction for my goals and I hope these simple sayings can bring meaning to those who wear them. Especially 'Live Life, Give Love', which is the essence of what Tsuya is. We're a product with purpose.

What’s your must-have from the Refresh Collection? (I know it’s hard to pick just one!)
It's like calling out a favorite child, so it's hard to pick just one! I'll go with the Hanna Jacket. It is such a flattering shape and easy to grab and wear with anything. It's comfortable and functional as well, with oversized pockets and cute collar.

What's your favorite outfit for workouts?
I love the Sunset/Iris Hibiscus Legging with the Tani Tank in Iris. When I'm done working out, I'll throw on the Kathleen sweatshirt and I'm good to go on with my day!

We brought back the Julia Jacket in two fresh colors! What do you love about the Julia?
The Julia Jacket is the best of everything; feminine shape and details, flexible comfort and functional breathability. It's been our bestselling active jacket and it gets new life in the current color palette.
