What does it mean for you to Make Others Better?
To make others better is to bring out in them what they don’t see in themselves. It's to bring out that strength they can’t find because they're in a vulnerable place. It can be hard for people to express themselves in ways where they can make themselves better, so I feel that it’s your job. If you’re in a place where you have the confidence and strength, you should bring that out in them.

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
I want to be remembered for my strength, my influence, my help and my advice to people. That’s what I live for, to help people be their best. I want people to remember me for my voice, my love, courage, resilience, ambition and work ethic. How I’ve evolved as a person and how I work to bring that to others around me.

What does it mean for you to Make Others Better?
Making others better is my life and it means the world to me. The fact that I have a job where I get to make other people stronger physically, get stronger mentally, and connect that not only within themselves but within a larger community, is pretty amazing.

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
I would love to know that I gave it my all. That there's nothing left more that I could have given, and that I had a positive impact on everyone that I touched.

What does it mean for you to Make Others Better?
Being strong personally reflects outwardly onto other people. Being strong in and of itself helps bond you with other people and it makes you more connected to others in the community. I think people are so afraid to fully admit when things are hard or when they need a helping hand. If you can be even a small agent of change for someone else, why not? Why stop growing as a person or as a community? There's always an opportunity to be better than the person you were, even five minutes ago.

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
I’m a different person every day I wake up. I don’t know who I’m going to be in a week or two weeks, but I hope I'm someone that has made a difference in at least one person's life. I want someone to take away positivity from a conversation, a picture, a class, from something I’ve put my time, energy, and spirit into. I want someone to take away from that what I put into it. Dedication, love, happiness, or whatever they felt from it, I want them to take that with them.

What does it mean for you to Make Others Better?
For me, making other people better makes my life better. Not only am I able to teach amazing people, but I’m able to make them believe in themselves and that’s a huge part of life - having confidence knowing you can do something that you didn’t think you could do before. It’s just amazing to be able to give that to people: confidence, encouragement, love.

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
I want people to remember me by all of the great things I hopefully gave them. Whether it’s nourishment, love, encouragement, just to think of how I inspired people to be better than what they thought they could be. I encourage people by giving them challenges. Challenges I know that they can achieve, nothing that’s too hard, but that one challenge or achievement becomes a new challenge, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger.

What does it mean for you to Make Others Better?
When I became a yoga teacher, I decided I really wanted to be of service to others. When I step into a studio and I teach, it’s really about who shows up and the experience they are getting from the class. And it’s more than just a physical work out. There’s more to it and I want to give them something they can take with them that will manifest itself in a bigger way for them off the mat. Also, being of service is being out in the community. Whether that’s volunteering at my kids’ school, I also teach with the Art of Yoga project which helps girls who are in juvenile centers by bringing yoga there. I also teach yoga to female inmates who are hoping to turn their lives around. My goal is to bring a light and happiness, something powerful to everybody I meet. Whether thats sharing a smile, teaching them how to do a downward dog, or inspiring them in another way. I hope to do that every single moment.

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
When I think about what I would like to leave behind, I would like people to remember me as a happy person. It sounds like a simple word, but a happy person brings happiness to others. When you see me you feel happy, I don’t leave you feeling less empowered. It’s something that I’m hopefully bringing to my children, a good mother, a good wife, a good humanitarian. What I can I do to further the success of others. And if that is just leaving them in their happiest self, then I think that is the greatest legacy I can leave behind.

What does it mean for you to Make Others Better?
I get to see the benefits of coaching, encouragement and support every day in my work. To give them the accountability, encouragement, support and inspiration they need to do the hard work they want to do in order to move forward in their lives. I think that we all need support, and when it comes to living a brave and fearless life, you can’t do it alone. You need people to encourage you to be your best, to dig deep and to leave your comfort zone, because we need each other to be our best.

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
I want to help the world live a life that feels good, and to live a happy and fulfilling life. I think so often we get stuck trying to live with the “should’s” and trying to climb the ladder of what success looks like versus what success feels like to ourselves. I hope that through my coaching and my work in the world, I can enable people to live life according to their own definition of success. I hope I can enable others to find happiness that feels good and live a life thats healthy, balanced and well.

What does it mean for you to Make Others Better?
The way I look at our world is we are one big community. It doesn't matter if we are in the same park, country, or continent-- we are all in this together. If we can better each other as we go along, it just means we are going to make the world a better place.

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
I would love for my legacy to be that I truly helped to make the world a better place. That people were inspired to also go out and make the world a better place in their own way…. but we all did it with a smile on our faces. We had some fun doing it!
